Description : This gene belongs to the melastatin subfamily of transient receptor potential family of ion channels. The protein encoded by this gene is both an ion channel and a serine/threonine protein kinase. The kinase activity is essential for the ion channel function, which serves to increase intracellular calcium levels and to help regulate magnesium ion homeostasis. The encoded protein is involved in cytoskeletal organization, cell adhesion, cell migration and organogenesis. Defects in this gene are a cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis-parkinsonism/dementia complex of Guam. The gene may also be associated with defects of cardiac function.
Form : Cell-Tissue Lysis buffer
Molecular Mass : 213 kDa
Notes : Instruction of use: This knockdown cell lysate should be paired with wild-type HeLa cell lysate for use. For Western blotting, we recommend running wild-type and knockdown lysates on the same gel, and loading each well with equal volume and equal amount of total proteins.
Storage : Store at -20 centigrade.
Concentration : Lot-specific
Shipping : Blue Ice
Components : 1 vial of 100 μg WT HeLa cell lysate 1 vial of 100 μg TRPM7 KD HeLa cell lysate
Protein Families : Druggable Genome, Ion Channels: Transient receptor potential, Protein Kinase, Transmembrane
Lysate QC : RT-qPCR; Western Blotting (WB)
